Company | History
PULSCO’s founder, William Everett, installed the first surge control system in 1922.   In the mid 1950’s, Pulsation Controls Corporation was founded in Santa Paula, California.   In 1969, the company was sold to American Air Filter and moved the operation to Louisville, Kentucky.   Tolo, Incorporated purchased the surge control and pulsation dampener product lines in 1982 and moved the company back to Orange County, California.   PULSCO reentered the vent and line silencer market in 1986, with an exclusive marketing arrangement with Fisher Control Corporation.   Advanced Technology Company (a qualified "woman-owned" small business) acquired PULSCO in 1999 and remains as the current parent company.   Advanced Technology Company, with capabilities in electron beam welding, manual/automatic TIG welding, laser processing, vacuum furnace brazing and CNC machining, has been manufacturing industrial and aerospace products to PULSCO specifications for a number of years.   Today, PULSCO resides in Irvine, California providing engineered solutions for fluid pulsation, noise, and surge.
